    Day 4

Machu Picchu deserves another visit, a second day visit. There are several activities we recommend in the area. You can re-enter the site very early, time when there are few visitors, you can take a walk to the Inca Bridge, walk to the Sun Gate (original entrance to the citadel, where people coming from the Inca Trail enter), visit the market of the town, hike the Huayna Picchu (hill in front of the site where you can get impressive views), and even do some canopy (at an extra cost and requires to take a train of half an hour ride to Santa Teresa). Train back to Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Cusco is a very active city, plenty of restaurants and night clubs await you!

You will then head to the Andahuaylillas Church, a 17th Century humble village church with one of Peru s most magnificent church interiors. It has superb baroque altars, woodcarvings and frescoes. Another stop awaits you at Huaro, village where there is a magnificent colonial temple with mural paintings of Tadeo Escalante (1803), one of the last masters of the Academy of Cusco. Finally, a stop in Oropesa, an early-rising community whose forty-seven bakeries have provided Cusco with its dayily bread for generations.
